Millet

Millet produces energy. It is a good source of magnesium, which helps in the production of an enzyme responsible for maintaining ideal insulin secretion and blood sugar levels. Studies have found that eating millet regularly can reduce the risk of type-2 diabetes.

Foods that have a low glycemic index should be eaten. They take longer to digest and retain energy in the body.
